About

Passo Norte is a one-person company in Guimarães, in the north of Portugal. I provide design and marketing services and develop apps and websites. I also make my own software, starting with the Flocksum app.

Flocksum

Coming soon to the App Store

Flocksum is a training and health journal for your animals. It tracks your rides and walks with GPS, splits them by gait, and keeps each animal’s training and health history on one calendar. It works for horses, dogs, cats and more.

GPS tracking Record rides and walks with GPS: route, time, distance and speed.
Flocksum’s Start tracking screen, with GPS tracking selected, a horse chosen as the animal, a Live share switch, and a timer, distance and speed ready to start.
Split by gait Flocksum estimates how much of a ride was walk, trot and canter, and how far you went in each.
A finished ride in Flocksum, with average and top speed and a gait estimate of 55% walk, 30% trot and 15% canter, each with its distance.
One calendar Rides, walks, vet visits, the farrier and vaccines, all on one calendar.
Flocksum’s calendar for November 2026, with coloured marks on active days and a list below of a vaccine, a vet visit, a farrier visit and a trail ride.
Every animal’s history Each animal has its own page for training and health, with what is coming up and what was done.
A horse’s page in Flocksum, with Overview, Training and Health tabs, a weekly goal, this week’s days, and lists of upcoming and recent activities.
